Construction, feeding orphans, teaching and more all on one trip.

This February, 17 of our church family traveled to South Africa to work with Blessman Ministries. The team helped build the Del Cramer Children’s Village, where more than 150 orphans and vulnerable children will receive a hot meal seven days per week In addition, the Village will provide education and religious training to the same children, plus homes for 24 orphans.

Members of the team also made home visits to HIV-AIDS patients, visited a center for the mentally and physically handicapped, and held a sexual purity conference for 400 girls in an after-school program.

Plus, Pastor Dave spoke to 1,000 youth, while his wife, Elli, led a Women’s Conference. During the final Sunday of the trip, Pastor Dave preached to a congregation where 12 people made decisions for Christ.

Our team helped serve meals to orphans and vulnerable children with Blessman Ministries. They even got a little taste of home when they noticed that some of the meals had been packaged by churches in Iowa.
