MISSIONARIES & GUEST SPEAKERS

We welcome the following guest speakers and missionaries to our 2011 Missions Convention:

GUEST SPEAKERS

PROJECT SPEAKER: DR. JIM BLESSMAN, CO-FOUNDER OF BLESSMAN MINISTRIES
UNAIDS reports that nearly 1,000 children are orphaned due to AIDS in South Africa each day. Dr. Jim and Beth Blessman formed Blessman Ministries, Inc. (BMI) in August 2001 to help meet the physical and spiritual needs of the children of South Africa. They provide nutritional support, housing, and medical care, plus training and support for leaders of the African church. Meeting the children’s practical needs opens the door to impacting their lives for eternity. (Read how we will help this year.)

Jim, a board certified family physician and pain specialist, and his wife, Beth, lead this ministry.

FAITH PROMISE SPEAKER: DOUG CLAY, GENERAL TREASURER OF THE ASSEMBLIES OF GOD
Doug Clay sees daily the impact our missions giving has on our Assemblies of God world missionaries. Doug oversees the arm of the Assemblies of God responsible for handling all finances sent to Headquarters for the world ministries of the church.

MISSIONARY GUESTS

  RYAN & ANDREA CROZIER
With a shared passion to fight the injustice of human trafficking in Eastern Europe, Ryan and Andrea Crozier are preparing for their first term as missionaries to Romania. They will partner with Teen Challenge Romania to meet both the practical and spiritual needs of those living on the streets and sewers – people most susceptible to becoming victims of human trafficking.

  JOE & MISHAEL NEWELL
An estimated 8 million young adults in America disconnect from our churches between high school graduation and age 30. Joe and Mishael Newell play a key role in arresting this alarming trend. Joe and Mishael are serving as directors for the Chi Alpha Student Fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) – home to more than 28,000 students representing 107 nations.

  KELLY & CYNDI ROBINETTE
Of the 13 million people who call war-torn Cambodia home, only 1 percent is Christian. Currently, Kelly leads the Cambodia Bible Institute in Phnom Penh to train future leaders. Kelly and Cyndi also demonstrate God’s love to 68 children living in the Sihanoukville Children’s Home, where they serve as directors.

  DAMIEN & MIRLA ZINICOLA
Do the difficult to reach others with the message of hope and love – that is what Damien and Mirla Zinicola are doing. They reach into the small communities in the interior Cuba by assisting local workers in church planting, training church planters, supporting local pastors’ families, and touching the needy in relief efforts.
