Kids are in a constant state of discovery. We tap into the way kids are naturally wired to discover so they can begin to experience who God is, how He sees them and how much He loves them. Our efforts equip parents, excite kids and empower them to share their faith. We are teaching kids God’s story and that community matters.

6 Weeks – Age 2

In our nursery, we work to give your child a first impression of their heavenly Father and the wonder of His love for each one of them.

Early Childhood
Age 2 – Kindergarten

While you are enjoying one of our weekend services, your kids will have fun in services designed just for them. In our Early Childhood classes we teach our kids 3 simple, but powerful, truths. Through age appropriate activities, our Early Childhood kids are building their spiritual foundation so that by the time they graduate to Kindergarten they know these three basic truths; God made me, God loves me, Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

Grades 1 – 5

Our curriculum is designed to provoke discovery and invite kids into a new understanding of how to grow in relationship with Jesus. In our Elementary classes we focus on three basic truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52; I need to make the wise choice, I can trust God no matter what, and I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Child Dedication

A Child Dedication Celebration provides parents the opportunity to express publically their desire to lead and spiritually nurture their child to love God and others. It is a public commitment the parent makes before God, their family and church.  The celebration will be a memorable occasion for you and your family. Our Goal at DSM First is to partner with families from the very beginning and to give them resources to help them build their spiritual faith community around their child.
