ENDOWMENT FUND GRANTS

We encourage individuals or groups to apply for our endowment fund grants for activities or projects that will further the religious or charitable purposes of First Assembly, extending our Christian influence.

Grant requests are evaluated using the following criteria:

Requests must be sponsored by an actively participating First Assembly member or attender,.
Requests must be for one-time funding to establish a program or project and not an ongoing commitment. If an ongoing commitment is needed, the the Deacon Board must approve subsequent funding from the church's operating budget.
Requests cannot be made for programs or projects that are a part of the church's normal operating budget.
Requests from agencies outside of First Assembly must be fore new programs and not for normal operating budget items.

Requests must be submitted to the Endowment Fund Committee through the church office on the Request for Endowment Fund Grant Form. Once we receive the completed form, it will be reviewed at the next regular committee meeting or at a special meeting called to consider grants.

Those submitting grant requests are encouraged to discuss the details with members of the Endowment Fund Committee prior to the meeting and may be asked to attend.
