DES MOINES OUTREACH
Something remarkable happens when communities become generous.
Partner with Convoy of Hope on Saturday, November 12, at Wells Fargo Arena to distribute more than 5,000 bags of groceries, give free haircuts and health screenings, take family portraits, host a children’s festival, and facilitate assistance from more than 50 social agencies.
Send the message that no one will be forgotten in Des Moines. This event is free.
Thanks to the more than 60 of you in our church family who have volunteered to serve at this event.
The volunteer rally is Thursday, November 10, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Hy-Vee Hall.
On November 12, volunteers will serve from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The volunteer orientation starts at 7:30 p.m. Parking is available at North High School (501 Holcomb Ave, Des Moines), with a free shuttle running to Hy-Vee Hall from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
